Human Genomics is a peer‑reviewed, open‑access journal dedicated to advancing understanding of how genomic variation shapes human biology, health, and disease. The journal publishes high‑quality original articles supporting biological discovery, clinical translation, precision medicine, and population and public health. The journal welcomes studies across the full spectrum of human genomics, including: Human genetics and genetic epidemiology Genome‑wide association studies (GWAS) and population genomics Whole‑genome and whole‑exome sequencing Functional, regulatory, and comparative genomics Epigenomics and transcriptomics Pharmacogenomics and toxicogenomics Statistical genetics and evolutionary genomics Clinical genomics, genomic medicine, and precision medicine Environmental genomics and gene–environment interactions Ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genomics Recognizing the data-driven nature of modern genomics, the journal strongly encourages submissions that apply advanced computational and quantitative approaches, including bioinformatics, machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, integrative multi‑omics analysis, single‑cell and spatial genomics, and AI‑enabled variant interpretation or clinical decision support. Human Genomics aims to serve as a multidisciplinary platform at the intersection of genomics, medicine, environmental health, and data science, accelerating the translation of genomic discoveries into meaningful clinical and public health impact.
