Geothermal Energy Science (GtES) was a scientific open-access journal that published articles of high-quality original research in all fields of geothermal energy exploration, extraction, and utilization (including non-technical aspects). Geothermal Energy Science (GtES) has been merged with the open-access journal Geothermal Energy on 1 July 2017. The International Geothermal Energy Association (IGA) and the German Geothermal Association (BVG) will ensure access to the contributions of the two previous journals.
