Fascism: Journal of Comparative Fascist Studies publishes peer-reviewed (double blind) articles that explore the phenomenon of fascism in a comparative context. The journal achieves range and depth of knowledge by focusing on topics such as: • The unique as well as generic aspects of fascism. • Patterns in the causal aspects and genesis of fascism, including political, economic, social, historical, and psychological factors. • Expression of fascist themes in art, culture, ritual and propaganda. • Gendered dimensions of fascist politics and culture. • The global and wider historical contexts of fascism. • Elements of continuity and change between interwar and postwar fascisms, as well as consideration of contemporary forms of fascism. • Examination of fascism using themes and analytical concepts including revolution, modernity, modernism, colonialism, political religion, totalitarianism, capitalism, transnationalism, extremism, charismatic dictatorship, patriarchy, racism and terrorism.
