The European Journal of Pediatric Surgery Reports (EJPS Reports) is an Open Access journal for case reports relating to the surgical care of neonates, infants, and children. A companion to the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery, it covers a broad spectrum of clinical specialties, including abdominal and thoracic surgery, orthopaedics and traumatology, neurosurgery, oncology and anesthesiology. EJPS Reports is an invaluable resource for all clinicians involved in pediatric surgical care.All articles in EJPS Reports undergo rigorous blind peer review. As an Open Access publication, all reports are made freely available to read and download from Thieme E-Journals.Aims and ScopeTo present rare or exceptional clinical cases in the surgical care of neonates, infants and childrenTo present specific clinical findings that may indicate new or alternative understandings of existing surgical procedures and how they relate to pediatric careTo complement the original research and reviews published in the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery with clinical data and casesTo promote the exchange of information between different specialties and sub-specialties involved in the surgical care of childrenEJPS Case Reports AwardThe European Journal of Pediatric Surgery Reports gives three awards on cases presented by young researchers in the case reports session during the annual meeting of the European Pediatric Surgeons’ Association (EUPSA). The award shall support researchers early in their career with a prize money of up to 500 Euros and a complete waiver on Open Access fees for publication of their manuscripts in EJPS Reports.
