Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy is a subscription-based journal publishing novel, original, peer-reviewed research and review manuscripts related to pharmaceutical science research, specifically in the fields of nanomedicines, formulation, development and delivery technologies, biopharmaceuticals, new material development, processing technology advancement, and preclinical, clinical and regulatory evaluation of formulation and delivery technologies. Research papers must be hypothesis driven and emphasize innovative breakthrough topics. Timely critical review papers within the journal scope are also welcomed, alongside data notes, letters to the editor, rapid communications and method articles. The priority topics for the journal include: i. Nanomedicines ii. New Material Development iii. Advanced Formulation, Development and Delivery Technologies iv. Innovative Processing and Analytical Technologies v. Preclinical and Clinical Evaluation of Formulation Technologies vi. Regulatory Aspects The journal’s audience includes pharmacists, academic and industry scientists (working in the areas of pharmaceutical science, material science, biopharmaceuticals, nanomedicine, pharmaceutical technology), regulatory scientists, pharmacologists, toxicologists, clinicians, medicinal chemists or chemists working in area of designing and developing new materials (i.e. polymers, lipids, excipients), and analytical chemists. All articles received by the journal will be subject to single-anonymous peer review. Authors can choose to publish gold open access in this journal.
