Dialogue is the official journal of the Canadian Philosophical Association, published with grant support from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Its purpose is to publish high quality peer-reviewed scholarly articles, book symposia, and critical notices in English and in French, in support of the Association’s mandate to promote philosophical scholarship and education. Itis open to contributions in all branches of academic philosophy provided that they engage with the philosophical literature and are referenced accordingly. Readers include professional teachers of philosophy, graduate students, and others with an interest in the field.Dialogue est la revue officielle de l'Association canadienne de philosophie, publiée avec l'assistance financière du Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines du Canada. Dialogue publie en anglais et en français des articles scientifiques révisés par les pairs ainsi que des tribunes du livre et des études critiques, soutenant ainsi le mandat de l'Association canadienne de philosophie, lequel consiste à promouvoir la recherche et l'éducation en philosophie. Les textes publiés dans Dialogue appartiennent aux divers domaines de la recherche universitaire en philosophie, sans discrimination d'allégeance philosophique. Tous les articles et les études critiques soumis sont évalués sans indication d'auteur par les pairs.
