Who We Are Founded in 1924, the German Journal of Sports Medicine is one of Europe’s oldest journals in sports and exercise medicine. It is the official organ of the German Society of Sports Medicine and Prevention (DGSP) and offers free, open online access. The journal bridges research and clinical practice through a translational, transdisciplinary mission. Aims and Scope The German Journal of Sports Medicine publishes high-quality translational research, comprehensive reviews, and critical discussions that advance the field of sports and exercise medicine.
