Once a year, we publish an Open Issue, which offers an opportunity for authors working on diverse topics to submit an abstract for consideration.SubmissionsCurrent Opinion in Environmental Science & Health allows two ways to submit to the journal:Invitation – in line with the established procedure followed across all Current Opinion titles andNEW– Authors may submit their work through the 'unsolicited submission’ option' available in the submission portal (https://www.editorialmanager.com/coesh/default2.aspx) which ensures the journal remains fully open to prospective contributorsIn the cover letter accompanying the submission, the corresponding author of a review article should provide a concise description of their expertise in the subject area, and list at least 10 relevant research papers on which they also served as the corresponding author." The letter should also articulate the need for the proposed review and clearly state how the submission distinguishes itself from the most recent and related Reviews, Perspectives, or Viewpoints in the field.
