About this journal ObjectiveCurrent Directions in Biomedical Engineering (CDBME) is an open access journal publishing proceeding papers, often from the annual BMTE, CURAC, and TAR conferences, but also others. It is closely related to the journal Biomedical Engineering - Biomedizinische Technik (BME-BMT) that is well established and has published articles of high quality for more than 50 years.
