Contributions to Zoology publishes high-quality research that advances understanding of animal life – from the discovery and documentation of species to the processes shaping their evolution, distribution, morphology, and ecological interactions. Recognizing the enduring importance of natural history and descriptive zoology, the journal promotes rigorous analytical and hypothesis-driven research that links organismal biology with broader evolutionary and ecological frameworks. Contributions that clarify species limits, uncover previously unrecognized lineages, document faunal dynamics, or provide insights relevant to biodiversity conservation and management are especially valued.
