Colloid and Interface Science Communications is an open access journal dedicated to the rapid publication and broad dissemination of high-quality research advancing the fundamental and applied aspects of colloid and interface science. The journal publishes full-length original research articles, short communications, and review articles that report significant advances in the understanding, characterization, design, and application of colloidal, interfacial, and soft matter systems.The journal welcomes contributions presenting new experimental discoveries, theoretical developments, computational approaches, and data-driven methodologies that provide fundamental insights or enable innovative technological applications. Particular emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary research that bridges chemistry, materials science, physics, biology, engineering, and related fields.Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:• Colloidal dispersions, self-assembly, surfactants, polymers, emulsions, and complex fluids• Interfacial phenomena, adsorption, wetting, capillarity, adhesion, lubrication, and microfluidics • Soft matter systems, membranes, coatings, thin films, gels, foams, and responsive materials • Nanoparticles, nanostructured materials, low-dimensional materials, and hybrid colloidal systems • Colloidal nanostructures, porous and hierarchical materials, and functional interfaces • Biointerfaces, biocolloids, biomembranes, biofilms, and biomaterials• Advanced characterization techniques for colloidal and interfacial systems • Theoretical, computational, multiscale, and machine learning approaches to colloid and interface science • Sustainable and environmentally relevant colloidal and interfacial technologiesApplications of interest include energy conversion and storage, catalysis, electrochemistry, environmental remediation and sustainability, separations, biotechnology, nanomedicine, drug delivery, food systems, pharmaceuticals, personal care products, advanced manufacturing, and emerging functional materials.
