Biologia plantarum, an international journal for experimental botany founded in 1959 by Professor Bohumil N�mec publishes original scientific papers, brief communications, reviews and hypotheses in plant biology fields of plant physiology, plant development, plant biochemistry and biophysics, plant cell biology, large scale plant omics and systems biology, physiological anatomy, ecophysiology, genetics, molecular biology, phytopathology, plant evolution, structure-function relationship, functional traits in plants, and tree biology. The journal focuses on model and crop plants, as well as on under-investigated species. All papers should be scientifically sound. The language of journal is English.
