Balkan Journal of Dental Medicine (ISSN 2335-0245 print; ISSN 2738-0807 online) is a peer-reviewed open access scientific journal dedicated to the dissemination of new knowledge and information on all science relevant to dentistry and to the oral cavity and associated structures in health and disease. The journal is the official publication of the Balkan Stomatological Society (BaSS). This Journal publishes original articles, review articles and case reports placing an emphasis on publishing novel and high-quality papers. Journal aims to influence the practice of dentistry at clinician, research, industry and policy-maker level on an international basis. Topics covered include the management of dental disease, periodontology, endodontology, operative dentistry, fixed and removable prosthodontics, dental biomaterials science, longterm clinical trials including epidemiology and oral health, technology transfer of new scientific instrumentation or procedures, as well as clinically relevant oral biology and translational research.
