The publishing purpose is to provide up-to-date and quality information to readers who have an interest in science and technology development in these topics. Every article published in this journal is the result of research activities, literature review, and best practices. BACA: Jurnal Dokumentasi dan Informasi is published twice a year, precisely in June and December. The number of articles for each issue is at least five articles. As a reference for submitting manuscripts, the author can refer to ODLIS to determine the list of terms related to the focus and scope of the journal. Based on "Surat Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi Republik Indonesia Nomor 21/E/KPT/2018" and "Surat Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset, dan Teknlogi Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia Nomor 105/E/KPT/2022", BACA: Jurnal Dokumentasi dan Informasi was recognized as a nationally accredited scientific journal (SINTA 2). In 2025, BACA: Jurnal Dokumentasi dan Informasi apply for reaccreditation. Based on the "Surat Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Riset dan Pengembangan Nomor 295/C/C3/KPT/2026" dated January 2, 2026, BACA: Jurnal Dokumentasi dan Informasi remains nationally accredited in SINTA 2 until Volume 50 Number 1 of 2029.
