Arbeiderhistorie, The annual for the Norwegian Labour Movement’s Archive and Library, is Norway’s leading journal for research into the history of the labour movement and the working class in a local, national and international context. The journal contains scientific articles and texts on popular history, and is richly illustrated. Arbeiderhistorie is aimed at members of the labour movement, researchers, students and those who are broadly interested in the history. Arbeiderhistorie has issued one edition a year since 1987. The archive of previous editions of Arbeiderhistorie from 1976–2016 is available here. The journal is published by Scandinavian University Press on behalf of Labour Movement Archives and Library. Peer review All research articles that are considered relevant for publication in the journal are reviewed by at least two anonymous academic referees with no ties to the author. In addition, the article is reviewed by the journal's editorial board and the final decision regarding publication of the article is made by the Editor-in-Chief. The journal practices "double blind" peer review, whereby both reviewers and the author remain anonymous to each other. The journal does not ask for any fees for assessment or publication. Indexing The journal is covered by the following indexing and discovery services: ERIH PLUS SHERPA/RoMEO Google Scholar Primo Central Index (Ex Libris) / Oria The Summon Service (ProQuest) Ebsco Discovery Services WorldCat (OCLC) All content in this journal is also exported to Portico, a preservation archive that safeguards perpetual access to e-journals, e-books, and digital collections. The journal is authorized as a publication channel on level 1 in NSD – Norwegian Centre for Research Data (for Norway and Sweden), in the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science’s Authorization list for serials (Denmark), and in Publication Forum (Finland).
