Arab Law Quarterly (ALQ) is the leading English language scholarly publication on all matters relating to the law and legal systems of the 22 states in the Arab League. It is indispensable not only for Arab law scholars, but also for those working in the fields of Middle Eastern law, Islamic law, and comparative law. In keeping with our commitments to global inclusivity and broad engagement at all levels, we publish high impact scholarship of the highest calibre from leading scholars of Arab law in the most respected universities around the world, as well as works from rising and established authors working in the Arab world, and from practitioners familiar with the region.
