Scope of the journal Anagramas Rumbos y Sentidos de la Comunicación, an international peer-reviewed journal, is a scientific effort to spread new knowledge in the field of communication by highlighting research in this field using theoretical, empirical, and applied perspectives to study current issues related to cultural studies, public communication, advertising, public relations, journalism, political communication, memory, and cultural industries.The journal publishes research articles. It is an open access journal since 2015 and it is addressed to professors, researchers, students, and professionals in the field of communication and other related fields. Anagramas Rumbos y Sentidos de la Comunicación follows ethical principles aligned with COPE’s Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers, is highly visible in several databases, and includes standardized ORCIDs and DOIs for search engines. Peer review process Anagramas Rumbos y Sentidos de la Comunicación aims to offer useful and reliable contributions to communication researchers. The meticulousness and originality required are ensured by the traditional review process carried out by anonymous reviewers. Anagramas Rumbos y Sentidos de la Comunicación is a peer-reviewed journal, a process assisted by an external expert review process following APA (American Psychologist Association) guidelines. Meeting these requirements contributes to the indexing of the journal in the most important international databases, which guarantees better visibility for the published articles. All articles are reviewed by the Editorial Committee according to the double-blind peer review modality. The Committee verifies that the article fulfills all the requirements demanded by this guideline. If the article does not meet a requirement, the author or authors are informed. After the review, the documents are sent to expert peers, who evaluate the scientific and academic quality of the texts. Once the peer reviewers' opinions are received, a decision is made as to whether the article will be rejected, accepted with adjustments or accepted in its current state for publication. Publication time The publication process of an article usually takes an average of six months. During the first month, the originality check is carried out through Turnitin and the formal requirements of the article are reviewed.
