Acta Scientifica Malaysia is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in all areas of life sciences. The journal publishes high-quality original research, including research articles, rapid communications, reviews, commentaries, letters to the editor, and errata. The journal aims to provide a rigorous platform for the dissemination of innovative research and scientific discoveries. Through stringent peer review and active editorial oversight, Acta Scientifica Malaysia ensures the integrity, quality, and reliability of all published content. By fostering communication and collaboration among scientists globally, the journal aspires to become a leading and widely recognized publication in the life sciences. Topics include, but are not limited to: Molecular Biology – gene expression, DNA/RNA research, epigenetics, molecular mechanisms. Cell Biology – cell signaling, cell structure and function, apoptosis, stem cell research. Biochemistry – enzymology, metabolism, protein chemistry, lipidomics. Biophysics – structural biology, biomolecular interactions, computational modeling. Genetics and Genomics – functional genomics, genetic engineering, population genetics, gene editing technologies. Microbiology and Virology – bacteriology, mycology, virology, antimicrobial resistance, microbial ecology. Plant Science and Botany – plant physiology, plant biotechnology, crop improvement, plant-environment interactions. Biotechnology – genetic modification, synthetic biology, bioinformatics, industrial applications. Developmental Biology and Differentiation – embryology, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine. Ecology and Environmental Biology – conservation biology, biodiversity, ecosystem studies, environmental genomics. Immunology – immune response, vaccines, immunogenetics, pathogen-host interactions. Neuroscience and Physiology – neurobiology, signal transduction, organ physiology, functional studies. Bioinformatics and Computational Biology – genome analysis, protein modeling, systems biology, data-driven life sciences. Translational and Applied Life Sciences – biomedical applications, agricultural innovations, clinical studies related to life sciences. Peer Review Policy: All peer review is single blind and submission is online via Editorial Manager. Article Publishing Charge: There is no APC for this journal. All accepted papers shall publish FOC. Submission Charges: There are no submission charges for this journal.
