Acta Ortopédica Brazileira aims to publish predominantly original articles in orthopedics and traumatology arising from master’s and doctoral research conducted at national and international universities and institutions. The journal considers submissions for the following sections: Original Article, Update Article, Review, Editorial, and Preprints. Update and Review articles are accepted by invitation of the Editorial Board only. Manuscripts may be written in Portuguese and/or English. The concepts and statements contained in the papers are the sole responsibility of the authors.
