Acta Logistica is an international, peer-reviewed, open access scientific journal dedicated to logistics, transport, supply chain management, and related industrial and service systems. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, methodological studies, case studies, and application-oriented contributions that advance knowledge in the design, management, optimization, evaluation, and innovation of logistics and transport systems in theory and practice. Acta Logistica welcomes contributions focused on, but not limited to, the following areas: Industrial logistics and transport logistics Supply chain management and distribution systems Freight transport, public transport, and multimodal transport Internal and external transportation systems Logistics information systems, electronic data interchange, and digital logistics Inventory management, material handling, and warehouse systems Production logistics, manufacturing systems, and production planning and control Logistics system design, layout, location, and network optimization Operational research, simulation, modelling, forecasting, and statistical analysis in logistics Routing, scheduling, and decision-making in logistics and transport systems Artificial intelligence in logistics, transport and supply chains Quality, reliability, maintenance, and sustainability in logistics and transport Service engineering and logistics applications in industrial and commercial environments Ergonomics, workplace design, and human factors in logistics operations The journal particularly encourages papers that combine scientific rigor, methodological quality, and practical relevance, and that contribute to contemporary challenges in logistics, transportation, and supply chain systems. Interdisciplinary contributions are welcome, provided that logistics, transport, or supply chain systems remain the principal framework of the study.
