Acta Geophysica

Acta Geophysica is an international journal devoted to fundamental and applied geophysics, spanning a broad range of topics grouped into the following sections: Solid Earth Sciences, Hydrology and Hydraulics, Atmospheric & Space Sciences, and Applied Geophysics. We aim to publish original and high-quality contributions: regular research papers, review papers, and short communications. Primary consideration will be given to studies significantly advancing our understanding of processes happening in the Earth’s spheres and beyond: in the lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and outer space. However, the submission should be geophysics-oriented and with the potential to attract a wide audience. We especially welcome contributions related to the development of new methods. Case studies are less favorably accepted unless they contain methodological novelty, present exceptional data or models, or are truly interdisciplinary. Authors are expected to convincingly demonstrate that their method is a significant step forward as compared to the existing methods and verify the method using real data. We encourage the use of reproducible methods, and the sharing of the computer codes, associated data, and models. You can read more here.
