Acta Dermato-Venereologica (ActaDV) is a truly international Open Access journal and publishes high-quality articles, dealing with new observations on basic dermatological and venereological research, as well as clinical investigations. Acta Dermato-Venereologica has rapid publication times and offers personal publication services. Each volume features a number of original articles in special areas, as well as short communications to stimulate debate and to disseminate important clinical observations. Extensive papers, proceedings from congresses and symposia may be published as supplements to the journal. Announcements concerning pertinent dermatological meetings and books received are also published. Acta Dermato-Venereologica is the official journal of European Society of Dermatology and Psychiatry (ESDaP). For more information about ESDaP and the benefits this co-operation brings to the members of ESDaP please visit the ESDaP website. ActaDV was founded in 1920 by Johan Almqvist and edited during 1936-1969 by Sven Hellerström. Since 1970, the journal has been published for the Society for the Publication of Acta Dermato-Venereologica on a non-profit basis.
