Focus and ScopeThe journal is aimed at scholars, independent researchers and postgraduate students specialising in Irish studies. Publication FrequencyTwice a year, electronic format PDF/A. A minimum of 14 original articles are published every year. Open Access PolicyABEI Journal l is free and open access. The submissionas are free from charges. ABEI Journal does not have submission or article processing charges (APCs) Submission's ComplianceAs part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items: The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration. The author substantially contributed to the conception, writing, and revision of the article. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author's Guidelines. Author(s) guarantee the originality of the manuscripts and if they use articles and quotations from other authors that they be duly cited. Submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines. Publication Policy1. Papers are accepted from Master's and Ph.D. students. 2. The article or review must be original and unpublished and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Only texts that are within the journal's proposed theme will be accepted. 3. Texts may be submitted in English or Portuguese. 4. Articles should not exceed 6 (six) thousand words, excluding bibliographical references, notes and tables. The reviews should not exceed two (2) thousand words (approximately 8 pages). 5. The articles must be accompanied by an abstract (maximum 10 lines) and keywords (maximum 5) in Portuguese and English, for articles in Portuguese and English only, and the title must also be translated into English. Files for submission are in Microsoft Word format (as long as it does not exceed 2MB). 6. Articles in English follow the style standards and bibliographic requirements of the MLA - Modern Language Association, for literature articles. 7.
